Sustainable Strategies for ROI
…the push towards sustainability drives us to fear the inevitable investment required to keep pace, coupled with ever changing government incentives, complex energy tariffs and a whole new world of terminology… it’s no wonder many businesses are saving sustainability ‘for another day’! In fact, that’s where we can help… we can take a look at your current premises/infrastructure, listen to your plans and aspirations over the next 10-15 years and help you arrive at a short/mid/long term strategy to work with and develop your blueprint which will help you as you move forwards. You don’t need to invest capital now, but when you do, knowing it’s in the right areas and going to carry a longer-term payback is key to a business’ future.
Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems
…harnessing the sun’s potential to help reduce energy bills, achieve carbon targets or simply doing the right thing, can be a confusing and substantial investment. Not all equipment is equal, not all preferred installation sites are ideal and not all engineers are comparable. Ideally, solar PV will be just a component tool of a well planned shift towards sustainability, whether paired to other energy storage technologies or complimented with changes in behaviour and natural resource usage, we have the experience and expertise to identify, develop and delivery for you on your sustainability journey
On-site energy storage
…energy storage opportunities can take many forms, from power wall and battery storage to harnessing the potential of water and waste, our experience in industrial circular economies and collaborative solutions gives us a real boost in helping you get ahead of the game. With public opinion, legislation and corporate social responsibility standards pushing towards sustainability, there’s never been a better time to invest in a sustainable future
Natural resource optimisation
…ever considered how the right windows in the right location can help reduce energy bills and increase employee wellbeing? How easily the (clean!) water from your roof can be used to flush toilets? or how your exterior space can become more than just a car park or grass?… let us explore the opportunities for you, we can deliver a medium term investment strategy to help you integrate gradual changes alongside regular maintenance and updates to save costs and bring your employees along on the journey with you
Air-source heating systems
…like air-con but working in reverse! an air-source heating system can take the form of a pure (new) install system or be a hybrid modification, utilising your existing pipework and radiators. Essentially using a far lower energy source (electricity) to draw and increase the temperature of the air outside, the heat pump can generate a constant ambient heat source in your system to keep your building cosy and warm, even in winter
Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS)
…now a pre-requisite in any new-build development, approaches to manage surface water that take account of water quantity (flooding), water quality (pollution) biodiversity (wildlife and plants) and amenity are collectively referred to as Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS). We can combine clever design, appealing aesthetic and legislation-compliant techniques to deliver the right SuDS solutions for your site, into the future
Mechanical Ventilation & Heat Recovery (MVHR)
…with spiralling energy costs and growing damp problems, stale air is a vital issue to deal with in almost all buildings. Traditional extraction systems are clunky, noisy and often ineffective as the heat you’ve paid to generate is expelled alongside the stale air. We’ve become well versed in designing, installing and maintaining MVHR systems from residential to commercial applications. A clever central heat exchanger removes stale air from your property, transfers around 80% of the heat into fresh air from outside and pumps this warm, fresh air back into your property… and as a centralised system, its almost silent and only costs around 20p per day to run continuously… far less than it costs to generate the heat that your old extractor is blowing straight outside
